This is a semi-transcript of Pastor Benjamin‘s preaching during Arrow Service on 12 November 2011. 🙂 Some are edited (i.e. not taken word-for-word).

We are in the Generation of Grace!

We are that eleventh hour generation!

Note that this is not advocating laziness but grace and favor which is the dynamics of the kingdom of Heaven. It’s not by your doing but by your receiving~

Trust in the Goodness of God! Don’t bargain w God.

When we compare, Jealousy breeds. Don’t be envious if someone is experiencing the blessing! Have this attitude that YOU ARE NEXT (in receiving that blessing too)!!!

God is not grading you based on your behavior. He looks at you through Jesus. Because of God’s goodness, you may be the last but you can get to be the first!

God dishes out good and unlimited blessings!!! ~

We all want to flow better in the favor and blessings of God but what is the growing process? The battle that you need to win in life: the enemy WITHIN.

The devil can’t do anything to you if you don’t let him in. Looking at SELF – large ego will derail your path

It’s no longer “I” that lives but Christ that lives.

The blessing of God isn’t attained by your self-centred efforts. Don’t use your efforts in satisfying your desires

Ishmael- a symbol of a fruit of someone who depended in self while Isaac- the fruit from e goodness of God

You cannot try to improve self. Crucifixion precedes transformation.

ROMANS 6:6-8

LET GOD CHANGE YOU

Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. (Jeremiah 17:5 NKJV)

God’s Message: “Cursed is the strong one who depends on mere humans, Who thinks he can make it on muscle alone and sets God aside as dead weight. He’s like a tumbleweed on the prairie, out of touch with the good earth. He lives rootless and aimless in a land where nothing grows. (Jeremiah 17:5, 6 MSG)

“But blessed is the man who trusts me, God, the woman who sticks with God. They’re like trees replanted in Eden, putting down roots near the rivers-Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf, Serene and calm through droughts, bearing fresh fruit every season. (Jeremiah 17:7, 8 MSG)

Don’t make self-effort your strength. There will always be a leak.

Trials and tribulations are just places we walk through, they are stepping stones to our promotion.

A man who is full of self-effort will not see when good comes. It’s all about perspective.

What lens are you looking through in life?

Appreciate what you have. It’s about the company. It’s the presence of the father.  No point having a big house without a warm home.

Man who is full of self can’t appreciate good! Can the music that they dance to drown the loneliness in their hearts? Only the Lord can fill our desires.

Dressing well because you have been approved by the Father not to gain approval from people.

[Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7, 8 AMP)

It’s not just about hoping for a future, MAKE GOD YOUR FUTURE.

Grace will always go to the humble. Water always flows to the lowest level. A blessed man is someone who is always humble( not the forced humility)

Humility is knowing the grace that God has bestowed upon you!

When you depend on God there will always be supply! Too blessed to be stressed! 🙂

When you depend on the Lord you will always be fruitful! The day you depend on the Lord, drink from the Source: the river of Life!

Why people still do not trust the Lord? 😦

They do not know that Jesus is the overpayment. They fail to see the abundance of Grace. They see a limit to the grace. Grace from Man is limited but from God it’s ABUNDANT! God gives you more and more and more in life! You cannot exhaust the Grace of God! There’s more and more levels of Grace to experience!

Jesus says “I came to bring life and life more abundantly!”

God is an ever-increasing God!

Big faith because you see big grace! Grace comes first then faith!!!

Don’t disqualify yourself just because you fall, or think bad thoughts or do bad things! God looks at you through the Jesus’ finished work on the cross!

Two hands outstretched to Jesus- One or the abundance of grace, one for the receiving of righteousness!

SEE  THE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE FLOW IN ALL AREAS OF YOUR LIFE!

AMEN 🙂
